The wrap house consists of the renovation of a part of an existing house on one side, and the building of a large extension on the other side.
By wrapping a new structure around both the existing and new part, it becomes unclear where the existing part stops and where the new part begins. The wrapping is materialised by concrete columns and beams that go around the house, creating a large carport at the entrance, creating a series of covered terraces and sun protection on the garden and pool side. The extended pool-house and the house enclose a protected zone with pool and large terraces. The house is very closed on the north side and opens towards the east and south side.
