Riurau House
The Riurau House is a renovation of a typical farmhouse in the Spanish Marine Alta. These farmhouses were connected by a riurau, a covered gallery where grapes were formerly laid out to dry. This farmhouse has two of these covered galleries.
In this riurau renovation, the characteristic arches are preserved, after which the space is stylishly adapted into a shaded terrace, maintaining the typical Mediterranean atmosphere. The adjacent home is also being completely renovated and consists of an open living space and two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The courtyard is enclosed by the living space and the master bedroom.
The second riurau is being transformed into a yoga studio, in both cases preserving the specific character of the building.
